Reincarnation is Real and Important for you to Know about as a Soul

I am a Christian, a Shaman, a person who loves and is fascinated by World Religions.
I realize that not many people understand reincarnation. It is fundamental in Hinduism, and is mentioned in The Bible on multiple occasions, but in other traditions they are not as familiar. Therefore, I will try to help you understand this important concept for your soul.
Souls develop through living different lives.
There are some people who are young souls, others who are old souls.
Reincarnation is a way to atone for your sins. You can learn from your past lives, and live differently, more loving, more kind, more respectful.
Reincarnation also allows you to develop. To gain new skills, new experiences, new abilities, new languages, new wisdom, new understandings, etc.
Then you become an older soul. Social-emotional intelligence helps, which you can read about more in my article here. It can help you get in touch with your emotions and heal your wounds towards the light.
You can also have animal souls in you. You can read about my evolution series on my Medium Page. Homo sapiens came from apes, who came from monkeys, who came from marsupials, who came from…etc… They can protect you and guide you. They are us, we are them.
To explain this concept more, I will refer to Hinduism, which has the most knowledge on this topic.
Here is broad overview from Google AI:
“In Hinduism, reincarnation (punarjanman) is the belief that the eternal soul (atman) leaves the temporary physical body upon death to be reborn in a new form, cycling through birth, death, and rebirth known as samsara. This journey is governed by karma — the accumulated actions and intentions of past lives — which determines the nature of future existences. The ultimate goal is to break this cycle and achieve moksha (liberation).
Key Aspects of Reincarnation
The Eternal Soul (Atman): Hinduism teaches that the soul is immortal, never dies, and merely changes bodies, similar to changing old clothes for new ones.
Samsara: This is the continuous cycle of life, death, and reincarnation that every soul passes through, which is not limited to human forms, but can include animals, plants, or celestial beings.
Karma & Rebirth: Reincarnation is a moral mechanism. Good karma (righteous actions/dharma) leads to higher rebirths, while bad karma leads to less favorable circumstances.
Purpose: The soul reincarnates to learn, evolve, and work through karma until it achieves perfection or spiritual maturity.
Moksha (Liberation): The final goal is to escape the cycle of reincarnation, which is achieved through self-realization, detachment from material desires, and union with the divine (Brahman).
Death as a Transition: Death is not viewed as fearful, but rather a natural, temporary, and transformative process in a long, ongoing, and spiritual journey.
Reincarnation is a fundamental tenet of Hinduism, explaining the diversity of life experiences and providing a framework for spiritual evolution across multiple lifetimes.” — Google AI
I hope this is helpful to you on your soul’s journey! If you are channeling, a shaman, or able to connect with your past lives and souls, that would be helpful to you in this lifetime. Then you can heal your karma and develop as a more loving, powerful, spiritual being in this life and into infinity.
Also, if this topic interests you, I recommend reading Christian Sundberg’s book, A Walk in the Physical.
“You existed before your human experience, and you will exist after. Drawing from his unique pre-birth memories, Christian Sundberg provides an encouraging framework for understanding the nature of the human experience within the larger spiritual context. A Walk in the Physical is a non-linear reality model that boils down the very vast into succinct accessible language. More than a set of ideas though, it is a tool meant to point you towards the portion of yourself that already exists right now beyond Earth. At the heart of the book is the theme of love, and it describes why authentic love — even in small matters — is so deeply important to our human journey.”
This was a very important book for me. I hope you gain new insights as well as you journey as a soul in this lifetime!
The Bible also references this phenonenon of reincarnation as well:
Matthew 17:10–13 & Malachi 4:5: Jesus says Elijah has already come, referring to John the Baptist. Proponents suggest this implies John was the reincarnation of Elijah, while others argue it refers to John coming “in the spirit and power of Elijah” (Luke 1:17). — Google AI
What is a soul?
What is a spirit?
What is a body?
Some humans have multiple souls.
What is an angel?
What is consciousness?
These are all extremely spiritual, scientific, metaphysical concepts to ponder.
I personally have healed past life times. I know I have multiple souls inside me. I learn from all of these experiences to heal myself and become higher in frequency. Ascension to me, is the ultimate destination; i.e. heaven, enlightenment, nirvana. So you live lives, and you ultimately learn what you need to in order to be the most loving, compassionate, understanding, non-judgmental, wise soul you can be.
That’s my take on this topic. What is yours? Do you have anything to add?
